South of the city of Puerto Vallarta, we find one of the most beautiful landscapes that the Bay of Banderas has to offer the world, Cabo Corrientes. Majestic mountains descend and submerge into the Mexican Pacific coastline, with beaches bathed in golden sand and emerald-colored waters, offering nature lovers an unparalleled experience, where access to coastal villages is only possible by water taxi “pangas.”
This excursion has all the adventure your vacation needs, with a boat ride and a hike to the most famous beaches in the southern part of the Bay of Banderas. We start our adventure at Las Ánimas Beach, heading towards the La Puerta River waterfall in Quimixto. Surrounded by beautiful vegetation, including clavellinas, plumarias, fig trees, palm trees, and fruit trees, and an extensive variety of birds that we can spot and enjoy their singing.

Originally from Pv, I’ve worked throughout the Bahia de Banderas and most recently in one of the ZR ’s most popular bars, encouraging everyone I met to come out into nature.
Puerto Vallarta, my home, with the perfect combination of natural beauty and the warmth of its people offers the most surprising and spectacular of hiking destinations.
Spending time in nature is one of my favorite pastimes. Nestled among mountains, rivers, beaches and a lush jungle, this magical place connects to my being and soul and I know it will yours.
Nothing gives me more pride and enthusiasm than sharing this piece of paradise and these experiences with anyone who chooses PV for their vacation.
Come out into nature!
