About Curiel
I was born in Puerto Vallarta and have worked all around Bahía de Banderas, most recently in one of the Romantic Zone's most popular bars, always encouraging everyone I met to come out into nature.
Puerto Vallarta, my home, combines natural beauty with the warmth of its people, and it offers some of the most surprising and spectacular hiking destinations.
Spending time in nature is one of my favorite pastimes. Nestled among mountains, rivers, beaches and lush jungle, this magical place connects with my being and soul, and I know it will connect with yours.

It was different from the other hikes because it includes a boat ride! I wasn't expecting that and it made the hike even more enjoyable. Curiel took us to two waterfalls. The first section of the hike was moderate, and from there to the second waterfall was very challenging. The rewards of waterfalls and cool, clear, deep pools of water are worth the sweat. I would do this again and definitely recommend it. Every tour shows its difficulty. El Nogalito, Las Ánimas and the Macaw Sanctuary are easy to medium; Palo María and Mismaloya are more demanding. Tell us about your fitness level and we will help you choose.
Yes. The listed dates are our regular departures, but we can often arrange other days or private groups on request. Message us on WhatsApp.
Cancelling 48 hours before carries a 20% administrative fee. Less than 48 hours or a no-show is not refundable. Within 24 hours you can only change the date, subject to availability. If weather prevents the hike, we reschedule it.
